These terms apply to your use of type-quick.com ("TypeQuick"), operated by Miguel Miranda, Portugal. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

TypeQuick offers free typing speed tests, multiplayer races, competitions, leaderboards and articles. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@type-quick.com.

3. Fair play

Leaderboards and competitions only mean something if results are real. You agree not to:

  • use scripts, bots, macros or other automated tools to type or submit results;
  • tamper with requests or submit results you did not achieve;
  • attack, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to the site.

We may remove results, competition entries or accounts that break these rules.

4. Names and public content

Your display name and profile picture are shown publicly next to your results. Do not use names that are offensive, impersonate others or infringe anyone's rights. We may change or remove such names.

5. Intellectual property

The site, its design, texts and word lists belong to TypeQuick or its licensors. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Affiliate disclosure

TypeQuick is reader-supported. Some links, for example on the Best Keyboards page, are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy through these links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked and do not affect our recommendations.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". Typing results are indicative and may differ from other tests. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will revise the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
